Reflexology and Beauty Therapy

About Reflexology

Each session of Reflexology is charged at £28.00, with no extra charge incurred for the initial consultation.

Reflexology has been practised for many years and the health benefits long accepted.

By applying pressure to reflex points on the feet the body is encouraged to develop it's own healing process. Reflexology is a non-invasive, safe and natural therapy that can be used to help restore and maintain balance within the body and it's systems, as well as helping energies flow more freely.

Reflexology helps to activate the natural healing powers of the body.

How does Reflexology Work?

Reflexology is based on the ancient Chinese belief that energy flows freely around the body to ensuring complete balance; physically, mentally and emotionally. If the energy flow becomes blocked this can result in illness; by unblocking the flow it enables the body to become rebalanced and healing can take place. Following the principle that reflex points on the feet are connected to corresponding areas throughout the body, a Reflexologist, using a therapy which involves applying pressure, by thumb and fingers will stimulate a reflex point which brings about a response in another area of the body.

Reflexology is suitable for all ages and may bring relief from a wide and varied range of acute and even chronic conditions. After completion of a Reflexology treatment for a specific condition, many people find it beneficial to continue with regular treatments in order to maintain a balance of health and well-being.

Reflexology induces feelings of deep relaxation which may help to reduce strain and stress, clients have reported reflexology may help and improve symptoms of:

About Reflexology #02

As to how you will feel after one or two treatments, well, your body may respond in a very definite way. Most people note a sense of relaxation; sometimes people report feeling lethargic, or even quite emotional, but this is a transitory state and is a part of the healing process.
This is important information to feed back to me on your next visit as it tells me how your body is responding to treatment and will help me to tailor a treatment plan specifically for your needs.
